And yes, I've been reading for a while now. I've never met you, though I hope to change that someday, but I think you've got the right idea about not listening to other people's opinions about what you ought to be doing. Other people don't understand your individual reality and think their idea of what you should be doing is not only ideal but realistic. And as far as choosing to be in a relationship or not, That's never seemed like the question, the question is if there's someone worth being in a relationship with. And there's not a lot of those out there. When you meet them you'll know it, and commitment won't even be part of the discussion, it will be understood.... Of course I'm a die hard romantic who hasn't had a decent relationship ever..... But I am still an idealist.
