Happy 4th!
Jul. 5th, 2008 11:44 amI had a great time last night. My mom came up and barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs and asparagus as well as had chips and dips and corn on the cob and raw veggies around. Then Aurora and Hunter came by and brought delicious potato salad and a lemon flavored cheesecake with a roasted hazelnut crust. (You're getting so fancy on me!) It was all really tasty, though now my fridge is stuffed to the brim with goodies. I hope I don't forget about them this year.
Austin also came. We drank 7&7s and sat on the couch talking about many things with Aurora and Hunter (including how expensive Apple stores really are with their imported materials). And we all watched the fireworks, though I think Reno's set from Rancho was better than Sparks this year. My personal opinion to be sure.
Anyway, I had a really good time. I'm not writing about it as eloquently as I'd like, but so it goes. I hope you had a good Independence day if you're from the states. If not, I hope your Fridays were equally spectacular. Now it's time for me to shower and eat and all that stuff.
EDIT: Thank bog for saved drafts. My computer decided it didn't need to be on right before I was going to post this. Sigh. Can of compressed air, anyone?
