You're Leaving, you're leaving
Apr. 26th, 2011 11:36 pm"Tempest"
Screaming all you want
at the deep darkening sky
the wind keeps blowing
There's a literary (or linguistic?) term for sentences that are grammatically correct but still a little off somehow. The clauses fit together, but the subjects don't? I don't remember what the word is, but that's what I had in mind when I wrote this days ago.
"Chorus"
There are only so many ways to
say, "I wish you would stay"
that don't sound sound useless and small
But you're leaving, you're leaving
and I get the feeling
that I can't do anything at all
I am not ignoring you guys. Promise. Hell, I'm probably going to regret staying up so late, but I haven't had a lot of time to myself lately. Work, work, over 40 hours in the last four days, ten days in a row already and it's only Tuesday, blah blah blah. I'll be back soon.
