Instead of trying to pick up bass today, I've been knitting and finishing some projects. Knitting has been going a lot smoother and quicker now that I decided not to work solely on my blanket. I've practiced a lot with the blanket, but I'm not even a third finished with it. With the rows being over two hundred stitches, it takes me a long time to get even an inch finished. Considering I can't sit still too long, it's no wonder I've been working on it since I started it in winter.

Anywho, I started a phone case yesterday and ended up finishing that, sans a button, this afternoon. The buttonhole looks funny, but I'd never done one before so I guess it makes sense. I also finally sewed the ties on my kerchief project after making new ones that were more functional than the pattern suggested. Though my sewing leaves something to be desired, it's not bad for not having hand sewn anything besides buttons in years.

They are little projects, but I still feel accomplished. It's not too often I make something usable in less than a day anymore.
