I made it three days eating closely vegetarian. (I had some bacon ranch Pringles, but I don't think those count.) It wasn't too bad, but since Austin cheated yesterday (his brother randomly brought him a chili dog), I had some pepperoni pizza for lunch. Eh... The goal isn't to go completely vegetarian, I guess, but I do want to start being more aware of what I'm eating as well as eating healthier. I've been really bad about that lately. (I'm sure the chocolate chip cookies I baked this afternoon don't help, but they are vegetarian. Haha.) Mostly vegetarian, I suppose. I ate salad and toast for dinner!

I've been watching the Olympics a lot, probably because it's on. I've never been really all that interested in it before, but I find myself rooting for random countries. It must be the power of the announcers' suggestions, but I watch these athletes from Ethiopia and Australia and Kenya and even China and really want them to win. There are a whole slew of events I never really knew or cared about, like marathon running, beach volleyball, water polo and cycling to name just a few. It's amazing. Austin was talking about how we haven't been really hearing about many of the events other than swimming in our media, like all the other events have dropped out of the Olympics just because the U.S. happens to have Michael Phelps and Dara Torres this year. Oh, nationalism. You're so strange.

Siobhan came home yesterday but has gone to Smith for a few days to visit. I'm trying to shift things around and make the house for three again, but I haven't been all that successful. It's been a while. Austin called and asked if I wanted to go hang out with his friends, but I find myself drained. I don't really know why. What could I do that's draining? I guess I did go shopping and to a craft fair with my mom and decided that I should start trying to make my own clothes again. School's starting again in a week, and I don't have my books yet. I haven't seen Aurora in a while. None of that's bad, though. Just signs of life.

I'm kind of ridiculous. I've got to get myself together. I'm still waiting on a few things, though. And I should stop watching crappy television maybe. Nah, who wants to do that, especially when it looks like Margaret Cho has a new show coming on VH1? That's right!

Anyway, that's probably quite enough of that.
