Well, I didn't break my face.

howeverbriefI'm back from urgent care and getting a ct-scan of my face. It was too late for stitches (and I probably needed them), but the doctor was able to steri-strip it together. I also didn't break anything, so that's good. I guess it was mostly a superficial wound, but the cut was deep enough to allow the skin to open up a lot. It should be fine, and he says the scaring may be minimal if I'm lucky.
Really, I'm lucky anyway. It could have just as easily been my eye.
Woo. Glad my mom was kind enough to come up and go with me. Everything should be all right.
Random stuff I learned:
1. The face heals fast.
2. Facial wounds are less prone to infection.
3. You can only get stitches within eight hours of injuring yourself.
So, yeah. Maybe I'll take a walk and a shower, and I'll be ready to go out later. Ding! Have a good day, everyone.
