Movie Magic

I thought of this in the depths of session, probably during poetry month come to think of it, but I never posted it because it seemed unfinished. Well, some of the lines have been in my head again, so I thought I'd put it out there regardless.

"Untitled"

Is this where my heart cracks like crystal
a symbol crash into a million pieces
as the medical monitors emit a single
horrifyingly unending
beep

Maybe here among the cavernous rooms
dust coalescing in the creaking cracks
the orchestra swells with his snoring chest
as another day drips down down
down the holes in the sink

Or as I sit looking across the table
at your dull aching eyes
and crickets chirp a minor chord
as the words to repair this silence
won't be found

What movie magic makes that sound?
